Gor Mahia to hold AGM with focus on transforming club's ownership structure

K'Ogalo's Annual General Meeting will be held on 7th September
Gor Mahia one of the most storied clubs in the Kenya Premier League has announced a date for its Annual General Meeting this year.
Through a notice released on 14th August, 2024 and duly signed by the clubs Secretary General, Samuel Ochola, topped with the agenda of proposal to change clubs` ownership model.

The AGM will be held on 7th September, 2024 at 10AM with the venue set to be disclosed in the due course. The statement either noted that those who will be allowed to the meeting are the members that have paid up as of 31st August, 2024.
The club will seek approval from its members to convert the club into a public Liability Company allowing foreign investors to the club. Besides these agenda members will also have an opportunity to interrogate the clubs financial report while setting modalities for fresh elections.
Gor are seeking to turn the club into a company which allows its members right to transfer their shares in the company and allows invitations to the public to subscribe for shares.
